This chapter deals with the definitions which are set out at the beginning of the wording in Supplytime 2017, particularly with the definitions of “Owners’ Group” and “Charterers’ Group” which determine the scope of the knock-for-knock in Supplytime 2017, and with the definitions (such as “Affiliates” and “Employees”) which are components in the definitions of the “Groups”.
(In Supplytime 89 the wording which defines the scope of the knock-for-knock is in clause 12, and in Supplytime 2005 the definitions of the “Groups” are in clause 14, and so these are discussed in Chapter 14, which deals with Supplytime 89 clause 12 and Supplytime 2005 clause 14.)
